Private Receipt will provide a new and excellent experience in receiving and managing receipts. The Private Receipt experience starts when a customer pays at the check out. Once the transaction is authorized the receipt will automatically be sent to the consumers smart phone. The consumers receipts are sent to one central place. This allows no more long ribbons of paper, receipts being misplaced, and not being able to find what you bought in the past. Not to mention an estimated 55 billion receipts were printed in the US last year. Private Receipt is being built from the ground up with the commitment that our customers own their data. Private Receipt will provide personalized coupons and promotions based on customer shopping habits analyzed by a personal agent powered by artificial intelligence. Each customer will have a personal agent that will keep track of what, when, where, and how the customers’ buy. The personal agent will use that information to decide what promotions the customer is likely to accept. Only the customer and the personal agent will have access to the encrypted data. The personal agents’ will have an intimate understanding of the shopping habits of their customers and will be able to determine when a customer is interested in offers from advertisers. With one million customers averaging 3 advertisements a week at ten cents per advertisement, the revenue can be just over 15.5 million dollars per year. We anticipate that the personal agents can be patented. Private Receipt will provide a compelling shopping experience, useful advertisements, and customers will own their data. Investors can expect a healthy return on their investment.

The Problem

The friction a consumer endures while at the check out is when it comes to printing a receipt. The consumer is faced with multiple options as too where / how they would like to receive their receipt. Private Receipt will improve the consumers experience by allowing consumers the ease of seamlessly  communicating their receipt to their smart phone. As new technology is discovered there are new ways to pay for a good or service, for instance, Apple Pay, and Samsung pay. What has not been revolutionized is the way consumers receive their receipt data. Private Receipt allows users to receive a notification on their smart phone with their digital receipt as soon at they pull their card out of the point of sale. That notification is notifying the consumer that their receipt has been successfully sent to their Private Receipt application.

Private Receipt will provide customers with a digital receipt that will seamlessly go straight to their iOS devices. This will eliminate the exposure to BPA and reduce the number of trees that are cut down for the consumption of receipts.
